About DIVAI


The conference is organized by the OZ DiVAI – Dištančné vzdelávanie v aplikovanej informatike.

The conference will be held under the patronage of:

The 2024 conference proceedings were published by Springer and are indexed in Scopus, an international scientific database.

The conference proceedings (2012 - 2020) published from 2014 by the Wolters Kluwer passed successfully the review process and are included in the Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index.


The conference takes place every two years in Štúrovo.

Author Guidelines

Authors have the option to submit a short or full paper by 28 February 2026. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the Programme Committee, and authors will be notified of acceptance by email by 31 March 2026.

Authors will be able to track the progress of their submission and will be invited to submit camera-ready papers by 15 April 2026. The length of the paper is a minimum of 6 pages for the short version and a maximum of 8 pages. In the case of the full paper version, the minimum number of pages is 10, and the maximum is 12. Submissions of fewer than 6 pages or more than 12 pages will not be accepted. Certain steps are required to submit a paper.

All papers accepted for the conference will be fully published (in printed form) in the book of proceedings "DIVAI 2026".

The created proceedings included in the Springer library will be created through EAI.

The previous DIVAI conference proceedings (2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020) were indexed in the Clarivate Analytics (Thomson Reuters) Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI). The DIVAI 2024 conference is evaluated through the Scopus Conference Proceedings Citation Index, with Springer as the publisher.

Official languages of the conference are English, Slovak, and Czech.

Authors are invited to submit a paper prior to 28 February 2026. In the DIVAI2026_template you will find the instructions for writing the papers for the conference. Submission system is implemented through Confy+ system. Please use this template for preparation of your manuscripts. The styles to be used are defined for all parts of the paper, from the title to the list of references. Please, follow the instructions in the template and use the styles to ensure correct publication of your paper. Papers will be double-blind peer-reviewed and checked by an anti-plagiarism system.

Venue

The conference will be held in the Hotel Thermal*** Recreation Complex Vadaš, Štúrovo, Slovakia.

Hotel Thermal is situated in the recreation complex „Vadas Thermal“. The complex with its nine thermal water pools is an ideal choice for those enjoying water and sunshine. The pride of the complex is Lagoon, the one and only artificial surf waved pool in Slovakia.

The recreation complex offers numbers of activities, like minigolf, go-kart riding, beach volleyball, slides, trampoline, playgrounds and quad motorcycling. Even the outdoor pools are running from May until September, the indoor complex (150 meters from the hotel) does whole year open. In the indoor complex, you find a swimming and a children pool, two saunas and an external sitting pool.

The hotel guests have free entry to the recreation complex.

Accommodation

The conference fee doesn't include accommodation. Accommodation is restricted to the conference participants. Please notify the hotel reservation office that you are a participant of the DIVAI 2026 conference.
